Sendak's Tribute Exhibition

Last night was the opening of this event in Barcelona; 5 artists gave a personal twist to Maurice Sendak's work.

Zebra is going to the book fair in Bologna

Publishers all over the World will be the first (after you) to see my little Zebra in action! 

Her friends, The Jazz Band, have something special for her that she would not expect and that children will love!

The originals were sent to the Bologna Children's Book Fair, and here is what the organizers will discover inside the envelope:

This time I have been responsible to create, more than 40 vector illustrations for some educational animations where children learn good habits such as the importance of including fruit and vegetables on our diet, easy things we all can do to save energy and the meaning of the words fair trade among other aspects.

Tribute exhibition

Next 17th October 5 artists will join forces to tribute Maurice Sendak. The exhibition will take place in Barcelona.

A star has born!

After joining few workshop in Barcelona lauched by well-known illustrators like: Mariona Cabassa, Rebeca Luciani and Lola Roig. I have developed my 3rd (unpublished) book.

And so Zebra is looking for the right publisher to be brought to life!

Paolo's Plan is the title of this illustration, based on Gianni Rodari's story "Giro della città".

"The Grammar of figures" it's an exhibition at the Bologna Children´s Book Fair 2010, this year commemorating the 30th aniversary of Gianni Rodari's death.
